Chair & Secretary: Carol Allport
I am pleased to report that things are going very well this year with lots of improvements happening and in the pipeline around Garlinge. See the ‘Local Issues’ section of the website.
But there’s always more to do. Why not find out for yourself?
We recently welcomed two new committee members, Donna and Angela, who are very keen to do their best for Garlinge and we now have a very productive committee of nine members.
We total thirty-nine members altogether. Help us bring that up to 50 or more.
Our meetings and social events are open to all and take place at Garlinge Primary School and Nursery. Further details on the website, facebook and GRA Notice Board by the paper shop.
GRA Residents’ Association has the ear of the Local and County Councils and we get things done.
We have very supportive TDC and KCC Councillors in Garlinge who represent us well.
We also liaise with the Police and our local PCSO to insure their intervention, when needed.
Make a note of our contact details or pick up a GRA card in the local shops and pubs.
Share your concerns and ideas, or just call for a chat to find out more.
We’d love to hear from you.
With kind regards, Carol Allport firstname.lastname@example.org

Garlinge is a nice place to live and since moving here in 1979, it has been my aim to interact with the local community. Joining the Residents’ Association in 2004, has endorsed my wish and where possible assist making the village a better place. I enjoy talking to people and helping those that may need it. I am also on the Board of East Kent Housing, which help tenants and householders in Garlinge.
